Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations is an American travel and food show. Host Anthony Bourdain visits overseas countries, cities worldwide, and places within the U.S., where hosts treat him to local culture and cuisine.
The episodes are currently available for streaming from Netflix as of April 2010. The show about Cleveland did not present the city in good light. I have lived in Cleveland for 6 years and some of the places shown in this episode are not very popular or representative of the city. It is true apparently that the population of Cleveland has shrunk by 50% since 1950s.
The city has beautiful green areas on the shores of lake Erie, an emerald necklace of parks as part of the Metroparks system and a word-class zoo that features exhibits in some of the best natural settings I have seen at similar institutions.
For reference, please see some of the articles in the sections about Cleveland and Cleveland Zoo on this website.
