At the “Expo 2010,” there were Police and Fire Department exhibits, crime prevention materials, and free DNA kits for children. Clowns, balloons, and face painters were at the mall too.

Outside the Mall, in the northeast section of the parking lot, there were a number of attractions, such as OPD’s helicopter, LifeNet’s helicopter, a police cruiser, police motorcycle, fire engine, fire smoke trailer, EMS equipment, the Recruiting Hummer Vehicle, Omaha’s new Graffiti Van, and police horses from the Mounted Patrol Squad.

At 2:30 p.m., in the northeast parking lot, LifeNet and Omaha Fire reenacted a car accident scene. This included using the “Jaws of Life” to open the car enough to extract the “victim” from the wreckage, putting him on a gurney, and rushing him to the LifeNet helicopter.
