Arlington Park horse race track in Chicago suburbs
Arlington Park
is a horse race track in the Chicago suburb of Arlington Heights, Illinois. Horse racing in the Chicago region has been a popular sport since the early days of the city in the 1830s. Arlington Park was the site of the first thoroughbred race with a million-dollar purse in 1981.
The track offers "Value and Senior Day" every Wednesday in May and June and it features free parking, $6 General Admission for all racing fans, $4 General Admission for those 55 and older and free General Admission for children 17 and under. Grandstand Seating (Sections A, H, I) is free.
