Chalco Hills Recreation Area and Wehrspann (Walnut Creek) Lake

Chalco Hills Recreation Area is located in Sarpy County, Nebraska, approximately 12 miles (19.2 km) west of downtown Omaha. Chalco Hills consists of 940 acres (3.8 km2) of which 246 acres (1.00 km2) is covered by Wehrspann Lake, an artificial reservoir.

The area on the other side of the lake is called Walnut Creek Recreation Area.

Seven miles (11 km) miles of walking trails encircle Wehrspann Lake.
