Champion boxer Klitschko says he has 2 distinct personalities in and out of the ring - TIME
Klitschko is the only champion boxer who has a Ph.D. and speaks 4 languages.
TIME: How different are you in the ring from how you are now? Do you have to work at getting more aggressive?
Klitschko: I would compare it to an actor. I drive myself into the character that later on is in the ring through five, six weeks of the training camp. But aggression means emotions. Emotions mean you get off your plan, and that means you're going to lose the fight. You have to just execute your game plan. Everything else, all emotions, you have to put aside.
TIME: Can I make a suggestion for your postboxing career? Movie villain. Try saying "Goodbye, Mr. Bond."
Klitschko: I prefer "I'll be back."

Portable Basketball Hoop from Amazon
Lifetime 1221 Height-Adjustable Portable Basketball Hoop with 44-Inch Backboard. Amazon also offers a "new model" that costs $10 more and has worse reviews.
From Amazon: In the beginning, all the founder of Lifetime Products wanted was a sturdier basketball pole for his backyard. With this in mind, he found and purchased a piece of heavy-duty used pipe, a sheet of plywood, and a basketball rim. The resulting backyard basketball standard functioned perfectly in his backyard. Seeing the potential of his hoop, he placed an ad in the local free classified newspaper and made his first sale. The rest--as they say--is history. He created the American PlayWorld Company in 1973, based out of his garage in Riverdale, Utah. After expanding into several other types of playground equipment, he eventually moved to a bigger location in South Ogden, Utah. Several years later, the company transformed the basketball industry by introducing the Quick Adjust basketball pole, the first complete basketball system you could raise and lower with a broomstick. In 1986, American PlayWorld created Lifetime Products, a separate company intended to concentrate specifically on manufacturing adjustable basketball systems.

Sumo wrestlers have a life expectancy of under 60 years
From USA Today:
Sumos wrestlers have a life expectancy of under 60 years. "Men live well into their 80s in Japan, so there's little doubt that carrying around a lot of extra weight is stressful."
"The key point in Sumo is staying fit," says Akebono, the first American-born sumo to earn the rank of yokozuna, sumo's penultimate level. "We have no off-season and train six or seven days a week."
But retired sumos and regular Americans exercise less with each passing decade. At the same time, their metabolism slows. And like Konishiki and Akebono, their ability to exercise is often limited by arthritis and longstanding injuries.
